Scholarships
MSTM
awards three scholarships every year to
qualified applicants. Scholarships are offered in the Traditional Midwifery Program only.
Martha Ballard Scholarship - in honor of Martha
Ballard, a New England traditional midwife and community healer that
touched the lives of so many in the 1700’s. This is a $2,000.00 tuition
scholarship. One is awarded each year.
Katherine Luckhard Scholarship - named
after an early Michigan pioneer and traditional midwife of the
1800’s. This is a $1,500.00 tuition scholarship. One is awarded each year.
Stanislawa Leczynska Scholarship -
Named in honor of "the Midwife at Auschwitz". This is a $1,000.00 Scholarship. One is awarded each year.
Books, supplies, registration, application and workshop
fees are not included; scholarships are for MSTM enrollment only and
are
non-transferable
