MSTM offers midwifery
skills workshops held in beautiful, rural northeast
Michigan. These workshops are open to the public.
MSTM students and others join together to learn
basic and advanced midwifery skills, herbology, labor
management techniques, the business and liability of
midwifery, suturing and more. Workshop groups
are small to allow for maximum interaction and input.
Lodging is provided and meals are free for all registrants
plus most workshop materials are provided at no extra
charge!
Work study Scholarships sometimes available,
conference exam provided and certificate issued.
Michigan School of Traditional Midwifery also hosts Retreat Weekends for administrators & staff. These events provide an opportunity for networking and are generally limited by invitation to staff and contributing educators.
Visit our 2003 Midwifery Workshop page for highlights of our 10 year founding anniversary event. This page provides an excellent insight to our Midwifery Skills Workshops. It does upload slowly due to heavy graphics and you may have to refresh the page several times but the effort will be worth it!
